The Long Barn is a single storey stone and timber beamed building, dating back some 150 years. It was once used to store farm implements and carts but has now been converted to provide a light and airy modern home with tiled floors and comfortable furniture.

Inside:

The main living area is open plan with high beamed ceiling. The lounge has an open fireplace, television and DVD player. It, and the dining area, look out through large full length windows and doors onto the garden and down the valley. The kitchen is divided by a breakfast bar from the dining area and contains electric oven, hob, washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave and all necessary equipment.

There are three bedrooms, all with timber beamed ceilings and uninterrupted views of the countryside. The main bedroom has a double pine bed, wardrobe, dressing table, hairdryer and en suite which includes a shower cubicle. The other two bedrooms have twin pine beds, wardrobes and chests. There is a bathroom containing bath, shower, basin, bidet and hand dryer.

Outside:

Entrances to the Long Barn can be from the original farmyard or from the private rear garden which has a large patio and lawn overlooking the valley and the sea of Mounts Bay. The garden has a BBQ, table and chairs.

General information:

Heating is electric by storage heaters and mobile electric convector heaters. The kitchen and bathrooms are equipped with extractor fans.
