The Granary
Sorry, the Granary is fully booked for 2012 The Granary is a two storey detached stone barn, originally used as a granary and stable. It has been converted to a very high standard and is a spacious and comfortable home. Inside: The accommodation is wood floored throughout with oil fired central heating and has additional electric heaters available. The upper floor is laid out with its original beams as a comfortable lounge and dining area with uninterrupted views over Mounts Bay. There is a television and DVD player. The kitchen runs the length of the living area but separated as a galley. It is fitted with quality hand made units, Neff oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a microwave. On the ground floor are three bedrooms, two with single pine beds and the main bedroom with a pine double bed. The main bedroom has a large en suite which includes a quality bath and shower facility. There is also a separate dressing room with hairdryer. The front porch has space for coats and boots and the large entrance hall leads to a utility room containing washing machine, ironing and cleaning equipment and a stable door leading into the garden. Off the hall is a large bathroom containing a shower cubicle, W.C. and wash basin. Outside: Access to the front door is via the farmyard and, at the rear, is a large garden with paved patio and shingled parking area with space for several cars. The large lawned garden contains garden furniture, a rotary dryer and a BBQ. The aspect from the rear is down the beautiful valley, over a wildflower meadow towards Mounts Bay and The Lizard. The valley is used as grazing with some crop husbandry and mixed woodland. A path leads down the valley with its stream to the coastal path and King’s, Bessies and Prussia Coves. |
