Access statements From April 2007 all providers of quality-assessed accommodation with Visit Britain need to provide an access statement. An Access Statement is a clear, accurate, and above all honest description of our current facilities and the services we offer. It will enable you to make an informed decision as to whether our properties meet your particular access needs. Accessible accommodation is not just about providing access for people in wheelchairs - many of those with rights under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) don't use the term ‘disabled’ about themselves. Under the DDA, the law protects people of all ages with mobility and sensory impairments, learning disabilities, mental health issues and progressive conditions. It can cover people with heart disease, diabetes, severe disfigurement, depression, schizophrenia, dyslexia, epilepsy and Down’s syndrome. More information is available from Visit Britain Access statements are now available for The Granary, The Longbarn and The Shippen |
The properties are cleaned to a high standard after each tenancy. Bed linen and towels are available.
